Community Shares of Mid-Ohio

Community Shares of Mid-Ohio is a collaboration of 45 community-based organizations, serving Central Ohio and beyond.


DWAVE's Mission is To establish a model agency to offer culturally affirmative advocacy and support services to survivors of domestic violence (DV) and/or sexual assault (SA) in Central Ohio's Deaf/hard of hearing community.

Equitas Health

The mission of Equitas Health is to be the gateway to good health for those at risk of or affected by HIV/AIDS, for the LGBTQ community, and for those seeking a welcoming healthcare home.

Kaleidoscope Youth Center provides resources and information for sexually diverse youth.

National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs

The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs works to prevent, respond to, and end all forms of violence against and within LGBTQ communities. NCAVP is a national coalition of local member programs, affiliate organizations and individual affiliates who create systemic and social change. We strive to increase power, safety and resources through data analysis, policy advocacy, education and technical assistance.

Ohio Crime Victim’s Compensation Online Application

Every year, over 40,000 Ohioans are victims of violent crimes according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Those crimes include murder, rape, and aggravated assault. Ohio supports many of these survivors through the Ohio Crime Victims Compensation Fund. Since 1976, it has paid out more than $300 million to victims. Eligible to receive payment from this fund are those injured during a violent crime, the dependents of people killed in crimes or anyone who is responsible for a crime victim's finances, such as a parent or a guardian.

Stonewall Columbus

Stonewall Columbus is a human rights organization serving Central Ohio through advocacy, community building, and education. They do this in pursuit of equality, fairness, and safety for the entire gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community.

The Columbus Foundation

Through PowerPhilanthropy©, The Columbus Foundation shares knowledge about the nonprofit sector and helps inform donors about multiple charitable choices in central Ohio. Since its launch in 2008, PowerPhilanthropy has raised over $27 million for local nonprofits.

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland

The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland works to advance the rights, respect and diversity of the LGBT community.

The National Leather Association

National Leather Association, Columbus Ohio Chapter - NLA: Columbus is a pansexual organization dedicated to education and understanding of alternative sexual lifestyles.

The Ohio Men's Action Network (OH-MAN)

The Ohio Men's Action Network (OH-MAN) is a network of men and women, as individuals and as representatives of local and state organizations, working to engage men and boys in efforts to prevent sexual violence; sexual exploitation; domestic, intimate partner, family and relationship violence and to promote equitable, nonviolent relationships and a culture free of oppression... They seek to create and support communities where all people can live free of violence within their relationships, and share in their commitment to respect, safety, and equality.

The Unfinished Lives Project

The Unfinished Lives Project website is a place of public discourse which remembers and honors LGBT hate crime victims, while also revealing the reality of unseen violence perpetrated against people whose only "offense" is their sexual orientation.


TransOhio serves the Ohio transgender and ally communities by providing services, education, support, and advocacy which promotes and improves the health, safety, and life experience of the Ohio transgender individual and community.
